Privacy policy

Chameleon Software Inc. ("Chameleon Software", "we") is a Canadian company. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
- When you book a call through our booking page (Cal.com): your name, email, and the answers you choose to give, such as your company and what you want to talk about.
- When you email us: your message, your contact details, and any files you attach, such as a floor plan.
- When you visit the site: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and pages in aggregate. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Why we use it
To reply to you, run the calls you book, prepare quotes, and deliver the work you ask for. If you send a floor plan, we use it only to build the 3D home you requested.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the business, each under its own privacy and security commitments:
- Cal.com, for booking calls.
- Google (Gmail, Calendar and Meet), for email, scheduling and video calls.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and forwards email sent to our addresses.
- Imagine AI Software, our engineering partner in Brazil, when a project you asked for needs it. For example, they receive the floor plan you send for a 3D home.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States and Brazil. When that happens, the information is subject to the laws of those countries. We remain responsible for it and use contracts to require a comparable level of protection.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and booking details for as long as we are talking with you and for up to two years after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Project files are kept for the length of the project and as our contract with you says. Records we must keep by law, such as invoices, are kept as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent and have it deleted, subject to legal limits. Email hello@chameleonsoftware.ca and we will reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
